My name is Georgia and Iâve been at the shelter for four years!! Iâm a bit shy, but surely someone can see that Iâm an awesome cat and would make a great addition to their home. Everyone in the cattery says Iâm endearing and one of the coolest cats at the shelter. When I know you I slide up to you so that you can pet me, but then I bounce away just like a fawn. I mean, really, what other cat does that? Iâd be quite happy in a home with other cats especially if they like to play and Iâm ever so fond of those little balls and laser pointers. Springs, they are to die for! I should mention that Iâm a nosy gal and like to know whatâs going on in the neighborhood, so Iâd love a perch by a window. I could keep you up to date on all the neighborhood activities. Hope after reading this youâll have Georgia on your mind and come meet me.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Georgia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Georgia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Georgia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Georgia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
