About this Dog
Bubba was chained to a tree for the first three years of his life (he was attacked by a dog - that is why he has scars on his nose). He then spent nine years in a no-kill shelter. He was never able to develop his back leg muscles, and has arthritis (he takes medication for his pain), but he has lost weight and can now run around when he has room! Because of the dog attack, he is not great with unknown dogs, but he is very happy in a confined space and only requires 4 shorter walks a day (with some play time). He is a very sweet dog, never makes noise, and he really likes resting his head on a lap or laying down on your feet when you are sitting down. I adopted him over four months ago thinking he only had a couple months to live, but after a veterinary exam and a surgery to remove a tooth, he was declared very healthy. I am moving out of my home to a place that does not allow dogs and I have a work schedule that keeps me away from Bubba 10-12 hours at a time. Please help - thank you.

How will Bubba receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bubba, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Bubba's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bubba was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bubba’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Bubba’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bubba’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
