Please help! Teddy was abandoned in our neighborhood fall of 2011. He is declawed. He was an adult then so I guess he may be 10-11? He is fixed but he sprays. He has been outside during the day and in a ‘catio’ at night. He is a little defensive (believe he is afraid) with other cats but is sometimes curious. Has been around a chihuahua and a Bassett and done perfectly fine. He would go to rub against them but not actually touch them! He sometimes swatted the Bassett on his nose for no reason. Both dogs passed away in the past year and he misses them. He loves to be carried and loves to be in your lap. He laser focuses on your hand and getting lovies. Will sometimes nip if you stop, but he shrinks if scolded. He is a love bug and deserves someone great! This is an urgent plea! I am leaving a domestic violence situation. Just found out that I got my rental and move to another city next Tuesday. I cannot take him. Teddy needs to be vetted and get shots, but our two vets are booked through July at one and through August at the other.My soon to be ex is allowed back in the home once I leave. He is tearing down the catio and I am scared he will hurt Teddy. I have called rescues, shelters, etc. and nobody can take him. Except for one that is a kill shelter and he is such a good boy, that idea is devastating to me. Teddy needs a hero and fast!!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
