About this Dog

June is a 2 yr old golden retriever/great pyrenees and is about 80 lbs. I adopted June from a local family that had found her in a box when she was just a few weeks old. Early on, June had small shown signs of aggression specifically with food which led to her owner being pretty aggressive with her. When I adopted her I knew immediately she would need some intensive training. She was very afraid of hands - so anytime I would use the remote or make my bed or sweep, etc. she would freak out and try to bite me. She was growing very big and strong I knew this would start to be a very big issue so I had her spend two weeks with a local trainer to try and work with her anxiety and fear-based aggression. Unfortunately the two week she spent with the trainer completely destroyed her. She came back 10X more aggressive and fearful and it took me months to regain her trust. She is such a sweet loving dog a lot of the time, however she has triggers that turn her inso a very aggressive dog and she has bitten me many times. I'm currently 23 and live with two other roommates and it is just becoming too much of a danger with so many people coming in and out of our house. I have tried for so months to find her a new place but every vet I reach out to says to just euthanize her and I absolutely cant do it. I know June is can do so much better if she is just trained and loved the right way. She loves cuddling and playing and is so sweet at heart. Her ideal home situation would be a home with no other animals or children, and someone that would be able to work with her on her anxiety. Preferably someone that could be an alpha for her as I could never seem to fit that role. Please help!! I love June so much and this breaks my heart but I know it's for the best - she deserves a happy life.

How will June receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the June, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming June's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and June was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, June’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, June’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund.
