About this Dog

Mowglie aka Mo is a super great smart dog. He is 3 years old. He has gone through basic and intermediate training. He is crate trained and actually prefers his crate for his “relaxing” time. House trained. He used to go to “camp bow wow” but my home and work situation changed and I am unable to take him anymore. I also have health problems and I have to use a prong collar to prevent him pulling only if he’s been cooped up all day or in the crate all day and he has a lot of energy. He loves dogs but gets super excited and wants to play. We need to work on him jumping on people again. The sicker I’ve gotten with my rheumatoid arthritis and my knees are bad. It’s harder for me to control him or walk him which living in an apartment, is absolutely essential that he is walked. I work all day and come home and can hardly walk. I need to take him down and I just can’t care for him as well as he deserves. He loves toys especially balls. He would love an active person with a yard, or willing to take him to dog parks. I wish so much I could do what I did even a year ago. But they now are recommending both knee replacement and then shoulders. There’s no way I can take care of him in a wheelchair or with my shoulders in slings. I need to give him the life he deserves. He is 81# typical German Shepherd. He doesn’t know cats at all so cats wouldn’t be good in the home. I have grandkids he loves, his size is the only thing because we are in an apartment it’s tight and he can knock them over even walking between them and the couch and in a small space there’s no where to go around. He’s never ever shown an ounce of aggression. The only accidents we have had in the house is when he’s left in his crate for far too long. He will walk great on leash if he’s not left in the crate 8 hours then straight out the door, of course he wants to run for the elevator he’s finally outside. He loves all people, but because he’s huge for a gsd a probably younger or healthy person is better. He knows down, stay, sit, fetch, heal, leave it, watch it “gets his attention on something”, shake, roll over. Please just give him an amazing life he’s so loving and I just physically cannot take care of him now.

Adopt Mo and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Mo receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Mo's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Mo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
