About this Cat
Who needs a dog when you could have a cat named Mouse? He's a sweet 7-year-old neutered domestic short hair, tuxedo tabby -- my elderly mom has unfortunately become too ill to care for her cats, so they need new forever homes. He's super affectionate, almost follows you around like a dog, comes when you call him, and if you feed him, he is guaranteed to be your best friend. He loves to sit in your lap and purr up a storm -- he almost sounds like a bird when he purrs! He's not declawed but doesn't really scratch or claw, and he gets along with other cats, and would probably get along with dogs as well (although we’ve never had dogs, so not certain). He's a little like a couch potato, but does have a playful side. The vacuum cleaner scares him, but he'll just run & hide. Before you adopt him, I will make sure he is up to date with his vaccines at the vet.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mouse's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mouse was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mouse’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
