About this Dog
I adopted Lumi on July 6, 2018 from an animal rescue when she was a 4 -month-old puppy. Her birthday is believed to be March 2, 2018. According to the shelter, they rescued her, and several other dogs, from Alabama. When I first rescued her, she was very timid around people and got scared when she heard loud sounds. As we bonded more, she really started to show her personality. She, to this day, won't leave my side. Even when I'm walking in the house, she constantly has to make sure she's right next to me or within eye-view of me. She's a caring, loving, and energetic dog that will thrive in an environment full of love, attention, and play. Her favorite activities are chasing tennis balls, napping, and getting treats. She's also loving towards other dogs! She's played with all types of dogs, from big to small, and I've never had an issue with her. Ideally, I want her to go to a family that can give her all of the attention, love, and play-time she deserves.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lumi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lumi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lumi’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
