About this Cat
A little over 2 yrs ago Minet (9 yr old male) & Avril's (7 yr old female) owner got injured out of the home. What was expected to be a temporary situation has turned into a 'not coming home' situation due to her medical decline. I have been taking care of Minet & Avril every day since this happened. I'm 63 & suffering from a COPD/emphysema condition. I also care for my 92 yr old mom and its reached a point where it's getting to be too much. Thie rent on the apt is still paid by their owner but that appears to be very shaky at the least. I lay out approx $60 month for food & litter etc etc.. Minet weighs about 12 -15 lbs & Avril doesnt weigh more than 7 or 8 lbs. They haven't seen a vet since Dec. of '17. They appear in excellent health, eat well etc etc.. I have 2 of my own and would love to take them in but I'm just not physically able to do it! I've had so many possible takers for both (together) but its been one disappointment after another! From finding out that some people were just hoarders to others who were just wasting my time (alot of them believe me) I would prefer that they stay together (been together since waaaaay back when) but I do understand if they need to be separated. The MAIN thing to me is that do not get euthanized! They are as affectionate as cats can be despite no constant human contact other than my daily visit. Please whatever you can do would be most appreciated. If there is ANYTHING that I can do to assure a continued goid life for them, just tell me! I do so appreciate your time!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Minet and Avril was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Minet and Avril’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
