About this Cat

Butterball is a very sweet, easy-going pet, used to her 2 sisters. 1 passed away recently - they were twins. She's about 11, very happy to be close to me, always sleeps with me. She's very verbal. If she needs something, she let's me know, food, water, go out etc. She doesn't roam just likes to be outside & with me. She's been crying a lot lately. Don't know yet if her eyesight is going or she's grieving. The house I've been renting for many years is being sold & where I'm going don't think I'll be able to keep her. I love her like my child but this is a survival thing. I'm on disability & I need to move to this income-based shared rental. I may need to also find a home for Princess who isn't related but they do look alike. She's pretty, looks like a kitten but is about 10. They don't have to be homed together. Butterball would be great for a person who's home ccx a lot, likes petting a lot or cuddling, sitting or laying together. She was one of a litter of strays & brought to me by a girlfriend on an old boyfriend's birthday who passed away. So I believe he sent her to me as a gift. It's my birthday today so if u feel something special about her, t hgt on she is my gift to you

Adopt Butterball and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Butterball's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. How will Butterball receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Butterball, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Butterball's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Butterball was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Butterball’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Butterball’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Butterball’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
