About this Dog
Maggie is a 6 year old mini schnauzer mix we adopted from a no kill shelter in NJ, prior to adoption she had been returned twice for biting. Since adopting her she does nip the kids but recently she bit one of our children enough that I don’t feel like a home with active younger children is a good fit for her. She is up to date on all shots and healthy. She needs to be kept at her current weight as she has gained weight before and had issues with one of her rear legs being lame and painful due to excess weight on it. We feed her healthy weight dog food and it works tremendously. She’s not good with other dogs, we assume she wasn’t properly socialized as a pup so when meeting new dogs she stands and barks at them and doesn’t know how to properly meet them. She’s also not crazy about cats. We feel that Maggie really needs a home as the only dog with older children, maybe teenagers.

After verifying the adoption, Maggie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maggie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
