About this Cat
I have two lovely grown male tabby cats (10 years old...approx 10-12 lbs ea).. that I have kept since 2010...they showed up at my yard as strays and I took them in... they are mainly outdoor cats.... are skittish of strangers but are not that way with me now... they live on my screen porch most of the time ... with nice warm cat beds in winter, fuzzy cat houses.. good food twice a day, always water in their bowl, vet visits, etc...they are able to go in and out of the porch as they please. I am moving and cannot take them.. it breaks my heart... I want them to stay together and have a good home together with good shelter. They truly love each other. They are not used to being 'cooped' up in a cage so I don't want that to be an option...I think they would be happy being indoor & outdoor kitties.. as they like to come in my house at times... I let them in during really cold or wet weather...but they eventually want to go back outside. 'Freckles' (red tabby) is a sweet lover boy once he is used to someone... 'Tabby' (gray) is still semi-feral and quite skittish of strangers .. although he is more used to me now and doesn't run away from me...He has a thyroid issue and I feed him Science Diet Y/D canned food.. ... I believe he may have been abused before he showed up at my house. I will donate all cats beds, houses, blankets and cat carriers, food and toys and make $$ donations. If you know who to contact to re-home these sweet babies maybe in June.. please advise. Any help or suggestions is appreciated. I live in the Simpsonville area. I think a home with senior citizens would be good or possibly a home with single female or male... these cats are used to a quieter atmosphere at my home... no children... since they have been skittish previously and are still somewhat. Bless you for any help and for the work you do saving animals!
