About this Dog
Kona is a sweet and loving 6 year old dog. She is a medium-sized, mixed-breed, 40 pound dog who loves playing outside and taking long walks. Having never been around young children, Kona would be best as a companion to older adults. She has all vaccinations, has been spayed and is in excellent health. Kona is used to having a yard for playing and running. She is a very affectionate dog and loves to snuggle, be held, and loved on. She is exceptionally well house-trained and is an excellent watch dog. She will provide a strong sense of security and companionship for a single person or couple. Please consider adopting Kona; you will not be sorry. A serious medical situation in her current family makes her adoption necessary. Were it not for that unfortunate fact Kona would not be facing adoption.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kona's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kona was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kona’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
