About this Dog
Experienced dog people who want to love a special needs softie please read on. Geist needs a new home. His owner died in October and his extended family doesn't want him. We've been looking after him but are not able to care for him full time. Geist is a good-natured lovable dope of a beast! After a long walk/run he likes nothing more than to curl up next to you and snooze the rest of the day away. He likes people and other dogs. Is very playful so small children may not be ideal. He does not like cats. He is 70% deaf, white all over and not neutered. An ideal home would be where there is either someone home all the time or another dog who can provide companionship. He is still grieving his owner and does not like to be alone. Please consider opening your family to Geist you will not be disappointed by the love and joy he will give you.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Geist (ghost)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Geist (ghost) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Geist (ghost)’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
