About this Cat
Butterscotch was found on 11/8/19 outside of a car lot in Peoria, IL. He is light orange/blonde in coloration and has not been neutered or declawed. He appeared to be injured behind one ear, so I took him to the vet where he was treated for an upper respiratory infection, an ear infection, ear mites, fleas, worms, and the minor injury behind his left ear. His right ear is misshapen due to a past injury that is now healed. Butterscotch has not been socialized to humans aside from being fed occasionally, but he is not aggressive. He let me hold him and nuzzled me to pet him prior to his vet visit, but will hiss if approached before he is ready. His ideal home would be one that is quiet and is without other animals or small children. He will need to be fed in small amounts as he will eat until he is sick. He is not yet litter box trained.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Butterscotch was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Butterscotch’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
