About this Dog
Pickles is a 55lb, 1.5 year old pitbull mix. When we got her two months ago she'd had no training at all. She's now had two months of solid obedience training. She can sit, stay, lie down, go to her crate, be quiet, and drop it. When in home she will do all those things without treat reinforcement, but when out among distractions she still needs treats as incentives and focus points. Can be left alone for abouts 4 hours so far. Sleeps downstairs on our couch while we're upstairs. She's good with our cat, I can even give them treats together, but she does play too rough at times for them to be left alone together. She loves ALL people. She is very wary of most other dogs. Ideal home will be one with her as the lone dog or with a mellow and submissive dog. I am willing and would be delighted to continue training, walking, and dog sitting her for free once she has found her forever family.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pickles's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pickles was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pickles’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
