About this Dog

His name is Ross and he is a German Shepherd American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I had him DNA tested a few years back. I will include those documents as well. He has been neutered. He 9 years old and very easy going. He is an indoor dog, leash, house and crate trained. He understands basic commands such as, "sit", "down", and "stay". Again, very easy going and has a great temperament. He doesn't like loud noises, like the lawn mower. All he would do is go into his crate. He is okay around children, he hasn't had much experience with them but when he is around them, he tends to keep to himself and if they approach him, he will either just lie there or get up and walk away. He has only been around children ages 6 and up. He doesn't have any health conditions other than allergies during the spring time. He will get dry skin and itchy eyes, which I treated with Benadryl. He can be a picky eater, and currently on grain free food. He is not a fan of water but will let you bathe him. His fave treats are Pupperoni treats and Dentastix treats. He is very sweet and doesn't do well with change. When we had to move in with family, it took him about 4 months to adjust. He was a bit sad and not his usual playful self. But once he got adjusted, he was playing with his toys and wanted to play fetch.

Adopt Ross and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ross's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Ross receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ross, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Ross's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ross was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ross’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Ross’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ross’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
