About this Dog
She truly is a sweet and loving pup! She is full of energy and loves to spend time outdoors - in the yard, on an adventure through a nature trail, or at a dog park with other dogs, big and small. She just loves all the smells! But her favorite thing to do is give sweet kisses to entice you to give her a belly rub! We have enjoyed having Sadie in our family these past four years, but now need to find a new, loving home for her. When we rescued Sadie, she had come from a neglected home, so she has continued to be guarded about her food and possessions, and has some anxiety when either separated or during storms/fireworks. Due to this, and a bit of a power struggle with our other female dog, Sadie can be defensive. The two have gotten in fights over the years (a squirrel in the yard, food, a toy), but increasingly these past six months (lots of transition in our lives lately). This past week was too close for comfort, as our toddler was close by. While we love both of our pups...we truly do..., we have to ensure the safety of our children first. After connecting with our vet and with a highly successful trainer, both believed, begrudgingly, that it was in our best interest to rehome one of them. Our other pup, Nala, interacts better with our toddler and has not been as much of a concern. So, we need to find a wonderful, fun, and loving family for Sadie to now call hers! Sadie would fit best in an active home without small children, with no other animals, and a fenced-in yard. While this is incredibly difficult for our family, we need to move quickly in finding Sadie a new home, as we are currently keeping the pups separated. Local shelters are at capacity or may put Sadie down due to her previous fights with our other dog, so we don't know of any other options. Please help us find the best home for Sadie in the next week. Let us know if you are interested, know anyone who is, or share within your own networks. She is approximately 5 years old and 54 lbs. She is heart worm negative, spayed, UTD on all shots and already treated for heart worm prevention for 6 months.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sadie Mae's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sadie Mae was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sadie Mae’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
