About this Cat

Max and Maisy are 16 weeks old, have been altered, and have had their first round of vaccines. They are from a litter I fostered (since 4 weeks) from a feral mama cat that has since been TNRed. Local shelters are overflowing, and Arlington Humane Society said they’d likely be PTS if I surrendered there (even though I worked with that shelter on the fostering). Max and Maisy are super sweet, confident, and friendly—raised from age 4 weeks in my home with dogs and cats. It’d be great if they could be adopted together, but they’d also thrive individually. They have been healthy for the entire time I’ve had them. I’m happy to pay for their remaining vaccines and/or make a donation to cover their care while up for adoption. I’d also be interested in officially becoming a foster mom (I did a lot of fostering previously in Denver). They just need some exposure in an adoption environment and will surely thrive in a forever home. It was never my intent to keep any of the kittens (there were 4). The litter just happened to come along with the mama cat I trapped and TNRed. I hope to see a positive outcome for these cuties!

How will Max and Maisy receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Max and Maisy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Max and Maisy's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Max and Maisy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Max and Maisy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Max and Maisy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Max and Maisy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
