About this Cat
Matilda is 7 lbs and 7 years old. She is the most chill and social kitty you could hope for. Even though she is a cuddle potato, she still gets the zoomies every night and runs all over the house and LOVES to play! She gets along with both cats and dogs. She has no medical conditions. She did have a litter of kittens before the age of 1 when we rescued her but she is spayed now. She is completely litterbox trained and has never had an accident. Her ideal home would be one in which she is allowed to be independent, but also gets plenty of lap time everyday. The only reason this sweetheart is being rehomed is because we are having to move from a house to an apartment across country and already have two other pets and cannot find rental housing to accept all 3. Matilda is by far the sweetest and most sociable, so we think she'd do the best in a new home.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Matilda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Matilda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Matilda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
