About this Dog
Teddy is a 1 year old akita shepherd mix, he is 40lbs, is neutered and is up to date on his rabies vaccine (will come with the vet paperwork). Teddy is a very high energy, protective, sweet dog. Teddy needs a home that has order, a large (preferably fenced in) yard, and older children. Teddy is good with cats (that are okay with dogs, he thinks every cat wants to play), and he has lived in a house with other dogs before without issue. I have a 3 year old little boy and they play a lot, but since Teddy is very high energy he needs a bigger kid or adults that will run and play rough with him. While playing he has accidentally bitten my 3yo, it was non aggressive, did not break skin, and only while they were playing tug of war. Teddy is also a barker, barks at people he sees walking by or while we're outside. He is a very good dog but needs socialized more. We recently got him (we are his 3rd home) so he really needs someone who will be his forever home and is willing to take the time and be patient with him and train him. We love Teddy and want to see him go to the right home, he is just unfortunately not a good fit for us.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Teddy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
