About this Dog
May 5th (1yr old) 45lbs Currently lives with a 3yr old female. Tok is Neutered and will have all shots updated before rehoming. Currently taking Brevcto for fleas/ticks. He has beautiful eyes, baby fur soft tan/white coat and he's a big snuggler. He is playfully vocal and loves belly rubs, fetch and lots of outdoor activities. He's a quick learner (sit, lay down, stay, shake) but at times can be a bit stubborn so imo, treat training should continue. Tok is housebroken but will have an accident if left inside for too long, and will find something to chew on if unattended. This has lead us towards crate training and so far Tok is doing great. The reality is that he has shown aggression before. Granted it was directed towards his brother (same litter) once our female went into heat, it is still an item that a new person would want to know about. All three were nurtured/spayed once aggression started, however, this did not change the behavior between the brother, and we were forced to remove Toks brother from the home in order to prevent any further altercations. Tok has not attacked any cats but will run them up a tree. No other aggression issues with other pets. Spouse will no longer allow either male to stay so we have been searching for new homes. After many, many phone calls, web searches, and FB posts, we've managed to relocate Toks brother but have not been able to find a home for Tok Dawson, yet. Ideally, I have only have hopes that Tok is able to find a loving home with a person who can take the time and continue to treat him with love and care. He truly strives to be a good boy. He is loving and playful but needs a person not afraid to make a connection with him. Every day it becomes harder to make excuses with the wife because I don't have the heart to take him to a shelter, but we are more than 4 months into trying to rehome Tok and options are running out. At this point, we are searching for a no kill shelter and it's breaking my heart. Whoever does decide to make Tok a part of the family I wish to stress that this will not be easy for Tok, or me. Tok is a good boy and it will be hard for him to understand any of this. So please, please treat him with love and respect. I know in time he will treat you the same way.

After verifying the adoption, Tok Dawson's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tok Dawson was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tok Dawson’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
