About this Dog
Sassy belonged to my mother. When we had to put mom in hospice, Sassy came to live with us. She is 7 years old. All her shots are current and she is fixed. She has no health issues. She sleeps with our six year old grandson, but follows my wife around like a second shadow. Sassy gets along well with our other dog and ignores our two cats. If she happens to get too close to our oldest cat, she will be reminded that cats have claws. She is house broke, except she will get into any food left out or any trash cans without lids. She will definitely let you know when someone comes to the door but once they are inside she becomes their best friend. She will growl if she thinks a family member is being threatened, but she has never bit anyone. She’s a sweet dog, but our busy lives cannot take on another animal. We have jobs and elderly parents to watch after, along with three households. She would be ideal for a retired woman or couple that can give her the attention she deserves.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sassy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sassy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sassy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sassy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund.
