About this Dog

She is approximately 62 pounds. She is probably a hound mix, long and lean. No medical requirements. We adopted her at 3/4 months old around February. 2011. At 1 year old she was hit by a car. She has had no lasting issues from that accident. Her front left leg/ paw was injured. She runs, jumps and plays with our other Pitt mix dog. She loves kibbles and bits dry, but will gladly eat canned food as well. She doesn’t do wel, with cats or other small animals. Especially rabbits. She has never bitten, growled, snarled at any family member. She has been around a child all her life. She will first bark or growl out of fear when she meets new person. She’s somewhat timid like that. She is okay quickly with expletive once she gets to smell you. My 10 year old son can walk her easily. She does have issues going out in the rain to pee. She isn’t destructive to furniture, she got that out during her young years of 1-2 yrs. she isn’t a nervous pacer. Doesn’t bark at storms. She will bark when she senses someone walking by our house. Definitely will bark when people come to door. She does tr and grab food if it’s left near edge, but not horrible about it. The main reason we have to rehome her is that she recently killed our pet rabbit. We just can’t keep her after she did that. Our son was so traumatized. Bella got into the rabbit enclosure and bit down on rabbits neck leaving gaping wound, from probably breaking Eddie’s spine. I got to her before she could do anything worse. We want Bella rehomed to good home, we just can’t keep her anymore it’s too much for our son, and my husband and I. Thank you.

Adopt Bella and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bella's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Bella receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bella, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Bella's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bella was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bella’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Bella’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bella’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
