About this Dog

She came to my wife's mother's property in Stroud two weeks ago. She was hungry and scared but very sweet. We gave her some food and she stayed all night. My wife and I fell in love with this sweet girl so we decided to give her a place to stay until we found her home. We have tried networking with social media and calling shelters, it seems the owner is not looking at all. Unfortunately we are not in a situation to keep her. We have a 1 year old and another dog. This is the reason I took her for a check-up right away. Heartworm test is negative but she does have a case of hookworm and whipworm which I have the medicine for. She has not had any serious side effects. She would make an excellent pet. She loves being with people and being petted. She has lots of energy and needs plenty of exercise. She is a 60 pound very healthy young dog. Edit: Since we have had so much trouble finding a home, it hasn't been a big deal to foster her for the past few weeks. However we have needed to keep her in the backyard unless it rains, then we can put her in the laundry room so she can stay dry and warm. She is the IDEAL pet to adpot! For anyone who wants a dog this age and size (she's big and is around 1 year old), she is a perfect fit. Lots of energy and VERY playful. I feel like anyone wanting a big dog from a shelter that is friendly and playful need not look any further. She does need leash training, I haven't been able to walk her and I'm no expert dog trainer. She would do great with a child old enough to play with a big dog. Also very playful with other dogs, with the exception of being protective of her food bowl. Please help us find her a home, she would make the perfect pet! She has gorgeous brown and green eyes that will gaze at you lovingly when you pet her. I honestly wish we could keep her. My wife and I have talked about how we are proud to have saved such a wonderful dog. We love her and want to see her go to the family that she deserves!

Adopt Sylvie and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sylvie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. How will Sylvie receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sylvie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Sylvie's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sylvie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sylvie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Sylvie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sylvie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
