About this Dog
We have to re-home Ares because we have a 12 year old chihuahua (Bam Bam) who broke his jaw last Thursday. And please know that it was not Ares that broke his jaw. Bam Bam is super special needs now and can't be around any active dogs. Ares is such an amazing dog and it's breaking our hearts that we have to re-home him. He is an active dog with a super funny personality, he does some pretty quirky thing's! 100% potty trained. Easily treat trained. Ares will also sit and give you his paws according to which hand you're asking with. We've almost completely broke him from jumping up on people (95% of the time). He's also very loving and sometimes think's he's a lap dog. He's been around babies and young children and he is very gentle and loving towards them. He was raised with 2 chihuahuas and a corgi mix. He has never been aggressive with them except when they've been aggressive towards him. And unfortunately he doesn't like any other dogs but his brother's. I never acclimated him with any other dogs because of the stigma that comes with him being a Pit Bull. We have done all of his vaccinations at home except his rabies. We are about to give him a booster before he goes. And he was neutered at 15 months old. He is kennel trained. He sleeps in his kennel at night and is in it when no one is home. His kennel will be coming with him as well as his harness. Ares is a total water dog and enjoys swimming in the pool. Ares is also really good on car rides, short or long. He also travels well in his kennel on long trips if you must have him contained for a trip. He is an inside and outside dog, but is primarily inside. He's never had any medical issue's. And we would prefer him to be the only dog in his new home because we can't be sure if he gets along with other dogs. Due to our other dog having a broken jaw we have to find him a new home as soon as possible. If you have any questions or would like to come meet Ares please don't hesitate to ask. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ares's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ares was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ares’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
