About this Cat

Ditty is 9 years old and he was given to me by kids who found him behind a church when he was a small kitten. I really want to give him his best chance and that’s why I’m reaching out to you all. He has been fixed, he is not up to date on his vaccines but he is a completely indoor cat (although he wouldn’t mind the freedom of going out for a sec to explore and then come right back home). He has no health problems that I am aware of but he probably needs some dental work because his breath has an odor. He also has some matted areas on his fur coat. Besides that, I have a 2 year old son and he (Ditty) stays out of his way so they get along. I also care for 2 elders and he gets along with them fine too. Ditty eats both soft and dry food but mainly soft canned food 2x per day along with the dry food to graze on when I’m not home. I work often so he does not require someone with him all day. He’s very independent and not clingy but he loves cuddles and pats on he back to show some love throughout the day. He’s not very active, he’s more so chill. He has his spurts of runs especially when there’s a fur ball toy around. He sometimes sleeps at the foot of my bed or curled up somewhere in the living room. He doesn’t like to be locked in a room all day because he likes to know what’s going on on the other side of the door. Please help me as Ditty deserves the best and he has been the best companion to me for the past 9 years.
