About this Dog

Hi there! We are looking for a new home for our sweet dog, Sally. My fiance and I adopted Sally from IACS about six months ago as a friend for us and a companion for our other dog. Sally cannot live in a home with other dogs. We spoke to a trainer and don't think she will ever be comfortable living with other animals, so we are looking for a place without other pets that can make her feel happy and safe! If you're looking for a lovable, energetic and cuddly little girl - she's the dog for you! Sally is about 35 lbs and 1 1/2 years old. She positively adores being around her people and is very curious and attentive. Sally needs humans that are able to keep her forever (how could you NOT want to keep her forever after seeing that sweet face?) Here's some information about Sally to help you make your choice: 1) She is potty-trained and lets her people know when she needs to go outside! That doesn't mean she won't have a few accidents when she's getting accustomed to her new home, but she knows how to communicate very well. 2) Sally knows "sit," "wait," "lay down," "roll over," and "go to bed." She is crate-trained and stays cozy in her den at night and when we are at work during the day. She also loves cuddling up on the couch at night with her people! 3) She is high energy, and with proper training could be your perfect hiking/running buddy. She still needs some work on leash, though. She's highly treat-oriented, so it won't take her long to learn. We'd love for her to find a home with a fenced-in backyard, or with people who are active and enjoy walking! Sally is microchipped and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. We'll provide the crate, toys, leash & collar, and some food & treats to get you started.

Adopt Sally and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sally's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Sally receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sally, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Sally's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sally was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sally’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What is Dogecoin?

"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Sally’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sally’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
