About this Dog
Scrawny came to us when he was about 3 months old so by now he about 6 months old. We called him Scrawny because he was very frail & we could see his ribs. He has now reached a healthy weight range for his age. He has received his rabies shot already. He needs a home with space to run & play and someone that has time & energy to play & walk with him everyday. He is very loving, especially around “treat” time. He has been trained to “sit” to wait for his treat but still needs more practice on other commands because dog training is not our area of expertise. Since he is still a young dog he will need someone that has patience to train him with positive strategies. We just moved to a ranch and my young daughter is no longer strong enough play around with him now that he is older. We also have a pet bunny and he and the bunny do not go hand in hand. Our hope is that he can find a suitable home and have a proper life where he is taken care of and not mistreated in any way. Thank you.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Scrawny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Scrawny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Scrawny’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
