About this Cat
We’re moving several thousand miles and need to find a new home for our two cats before we go. Pleiades, named after the Seven Sisters constellation, is a pure black feline, with silky, short hair. Our second cat is a brown, tan and white calico, with thick, short hair. She’s named Mitten because she’s the same colors as the woolen mittens we wore as children. We adopted them together as kittens. Pleiades and Mitten were nestled together when we first saw them. They still like to groom each other and sleep together. Mitten is shy and will often hide from strangers. Pleiades is more outgoing and likes to investigate visitors. Both like to “hang out” with you. Mitten especially likes to be on your lap helping you nap or watch TV. They have always been around adults and probably would be better suited in a home with adults, rather than young children. Although both cats have been spayed, neither have been declawed. Since they’ve always been together, we’d prefer that the cats find a new home together, if possible, since we think they’d be the happiest that way.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mitten and Pleiades's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mitten and Pleiades was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mitten and Pleiades’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
