About this Dog
Hi my name is Magnus. I’m 3 years old and 35lbs. I have LOTS of energy and I’m looking for a home with lots of experience with high energy breeds. I have been with my mommy since I was a puppy and she always hoped I would eventually mellow out, but I just love to play all the time! I hope you’ll love me as much as she does and we can go on lots of adventures. Hope to see you soon! Letter from my mom; If you are reading this please know I am heartbroken and sobbing as I type this, not some monster who is giving away their dog because they don’t have time for them or don’t love them anymore after having a baby. This dog was my rock while I was pregnant and alone and I’ve given him the best training I could the last 3 years, medications, sedatives, and done everything I could to keep him as a part of my family. But he is too high energy and hyper around my toddler and his father feels he could hurt him, even though I know they are best friends. My son’s father is using him against me and claiming I am endangering my son by keeping such a hyper dog around my son. He is a very sweet dog but has some anxiety about grooming. I don’t know why he has always been like that from the puppy store I bought him from. Myself and every groomer he’s ever been to have never been able to clip his nails because he gets so scared. He will come with his favorite blankie and tons of toys and food. He is neutered, up to date on all shots including a 3 year rabies from Dec 2018. He is microchipped and very well house-trained. He is extremely intelligent, almost too smart for his own good lol He knows lots of commands, “shake”(handshake), “high five”, “sit”, “stay”, “down”, “in” (crate trained), “place” (go to dog bed), “shake” (dry off after bath), “wait” (for treats balanced on his nose, for nearly a minute before you tell him “get it”) and is very obedient when he is tuned in. He is just too high energy and doesn’t like physical affection. He comes with his lineage paperwork from his breeder, he is a pure Golden/Labrador Hybrid. He smiles at you which is hilarious and he is always ready to play. Please be patient with him if you take him home. After verifying the adoption, Magnus's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Magnus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Magnus’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
