About this Dog
Lillee is a Shepard mix, approx 70 pounds, is spayed, current on her shots, 3.5 year old female, very sweet temperament, a female Shepard mix. Regrettably I have to surrender my dog, Lilliana Moma, “Lillee” for short. I adopted Lillee in June 2018 from the Mesquite animal shelter. I was told she was about three years old and had come into the shelter with 3 puppies who were immediately separated from her. I was told she was heartbroken over the loss of her pups who had already been adopted out several days before I met her. She was dehydrated, very skinny & her coat was wiry. She was named “Moma” I suspect bc she was a momma & her name was spelled wrong. She was so sweet, I felt she looked like a Lilianna so hence her name, Lillianna Moma. After she was spayed I took her home. I already had another dog, a shepherd mix, who was 2 & 1/2. I thought they would get along great but Lillee began attacking Jessee. It was infrequent at first, but concerning. The attacks stopped and were infrequent until late November/ early December. I called around to discuss my options, but there were no rescues that would take her and truthfully I did not want her to leave. Finally I found a dog trainer who I was very impressed with & he began coming to my home to work Lillee. I was so happy bc the situation was looking promising & for the most part Lillee is a very, very sweet dog. Unfortunately the situation got out of hand & Lillee attacked Jessee again. I spoke to my vet & he recommended surrendering Lillee & informing them she would fare best in a single pet household since she hasn’t attacked any humans. This truly breaks my heart. Lillee is such a sweet dog but will need a single pet home. She is toilet trained, knows sit, lay down, car ride, nite nite, responds to verbal commands & redirection, can use a doggie door, she responds well around people & is such a sweet soul.
