About this Dog
I received word about an abused pitt 3/2013. When I investigated, I found this female who was covered in red mange sores & other slices and wounds, with a broken bottom jaw (flapping broken, w/3 molars broken off to the gum), infected eyes swollen shut, one side of her face bashed in, and with 2 deep indentations in her backbone where she'd been beaten with a pipe/bat. (For 2 yrs she would go ballistic if she saw even a paper towel roll, fly swatter-anything resembling a pipe or bat.) She was about 20 lbs underweight, CHAINED to a concrete block in the hot sun, no food or water in evidence. Plus she was pregnant (had 13 puppies one week later.) I have spent thousands of dollars in the last 5 yrs getting her heartworm free, spaying, operations on her face to get it pulled back out to normal, removal of broken teeth roots and jaw repair, not to mention loads of love and therapy. One can now pick up even a pipe/rifle, without her freaking out. She is gorgeous, sweet and loving towards all sizes and kinds of dogs, cats, parrots, etc., except for my rescued older (quite possessive) female german shepherd mix, and my chickens, which she WILL kill if given the opportunity. Otherwise, Cheyenne is extremely well-mannered both inside and out. Approximately 6 months ago, I gave Cheyenne to my 20 yr old friend, 'Starr', and it was a loving, perfect match. However, Starr moved out of her home and into a home in Tallahassee that will not allow Cheyenne to live there. Starr has disability issues and has asked me to contact you to see about fostering or finding a permanent home for Cheyenne. As long as my old shepherd mix is alive, there will be fighting, and I am 65 yrs old, with 4 other dogs over 80 lbs, and ALL of them fight whenever Cheyenne and Cheaha (the shepherd) get into it. At present, I am unable to download pictures of Cheyenne for you due to computer illiteracy, but will be delighted to bring her to you, along with all her medical records dating from 3/2013. This poor dog has been through too much hell to be put down! Please, please, allow me to bring her to you-at least MEET her.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cheyenne's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cheyenne was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cheyenne’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
