About this Dog

Bam Bam is about 5 or 6 years old, not sure because he was adopted after being abandoned. He is due for his yearly shots and heartworm. We love him but cant keep him. He has been almost blind since we've had him, though we think he can see shadows. He is very sweet, long-haired dachsund, blonde (which is rare, I'm told) the ultimate lap dog, weighing only 4.5 to 5 pounds! He has a bad habit of chewing up small toys and swallowing the pieces which doesnt agree with him. He likes to find a cozy spot behind or under furniture as a back up when his human isnt home. Hes also somewhat of a pack rat. He collects things in his "nook". Other than these couple of bad habits, he is house trained and would be a perfect companion for someone in a home without children. He wont bite, and acts like a little old man. Because he doesnt see well, his nose is always in the air and always bumping into things (it's actually kinda comical) and his hearing is very good. Once use to you, he will follow you around. We love him dearly, but we were fostering him and cant afford to keep him. He is also very use to being around larger dogs. Looking to find someone who will love him and give him a forever home.

Adopt Bam Bam and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bam Bam's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Bam Bam receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bam Bam, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Bam Bam's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bam Bam was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bam Bam’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Bam Bam’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bam Bam’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
