About this Cat
Herschel is a homeless cat. She has been living in my employers yard for five years that I know of when I discovered her with a litter of kittens under their deck. I trapped her and had her spayed and ear clipped at OAR and found homes for the kittens. Since then, she has remained in their yard with a Kitty Tube house we provided . The owners do not want her in the yard anymore and have given me until June to find a place for her to live. She is afraid of all people, but because I have been feeding her for several years, she comes when I call her name . I am able to approach her, pet her , and can even pick her up and hold her. She has not been aggressive with me and actually very friendly and looking for affection. I’m not sure how long she was out there before we discovered her with the kittens, but wonder if she was someone’s pet that had gotten lost. She seems very healthy.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Herschel's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Herschel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Herschel’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
