About this Dog

UPDATE Jan 21st: Her personality is coming out and she is so lovable and wants to be with people. We have one other female dog who we consider an "omega", but my goodness, this girl is so passive, she will lie on the floor to show her submission (also while begging to please not take a bath). She will NOT CHASE CATS! Yay! (we have 3.) Signs indicate she may already be housebroken (the jury is still out). She wants to be a lap dog and cuddle with you. We are still being cautious about cuddles because she has a couple skin abrasions, but also mixing coconut oil into her food to help her dry skin and fur recovery. ********* We took her in on Jan 15, 2019. She’s a very sweet momma dog (not spade yet) who was wondering our neighborhood for the better part of a month. We took her for a wellness check, and she is between 2 and 3 years old. Not microchipped. We paid for rabies, parvo and distemper vaccine as well as worming, flea, and mite treatments. We are treating her for an ear infection and she's getting a general course of antibiotics, she seems very underweight but otherwise she’s in good health. We are unsure of her pregnancy status as she is close to (before or after)a heat cycle when we picked her up.

Adopt Sweetie and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sweetie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Sweetie receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sweetie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Sweetie's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sweetie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sweetie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What is Dogecoin?

"The fun and friendly internet currency."

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Sweetie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sweetie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
