About this Cat

Midnight is my sweet, affectionate, cuddling. Baby. He is 7 months old. He is male and part Maine Coon. Very affectionate. I was suddenly homeless and the place I'm staying at had viscous indoor dogs that hate cats. Even just seeing one through a window. Plus it's already way overcrowded with two people sleeping on couch. I love him so much. We have had it rough the past few months. But we are good people and know that God will help us through this. Midnight had gotten sick in Sept. All the vet could say was that his kidneys were shutting down. A close friend encouraged me DO NOT PUT HIM DOWN BUT GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO MAKE IT... She has a farm with lots of experience with animals. As well as some left over antibiotics that seemed to have saved him. He has only been kept inside. But we came close to losing him. He survived! I don't want to rehome him again. Christmas night I had to suddenly leave my home. He was able to stay just a little longer as it was a family situation. I thought I had found his new furever home... But they say he is grieving and they don't want to keep him.. Our short time together had been from one place to the next. I know that I will be able to have my own place in just a couple months. So I'm really looking for a foster. I cannot afford boarding fees. I've just recently started another new job and it's great. I'll be able to actually live on my wages rather than depending on anyone ever again. And my new place is for Midnight as well. He has had shots when he was very young . But was too young to have neutered at the time. I don't have any of my paperwork so I'm going to start fresh with neutering and vaccinations. I will be able to do this next week when I get paid again. When he was so sick before they couldn't vaccinate or neuter and honestly thought he wouldn't make it. I DO believe in vetting all cats. And that ownership is a huge responsibility. Both financially and emotionally. I hate that he isn't with me and is missing me so much...I miss him so bad! It was hard to go through actually having to give him up only to have to do it again. It isn't fair to him or me either. But you learn from your mistakes... I m trying to keep this as stress free on him as much as possible. It definitely is not an ideal situation but I HAVE to try... And please PLEASE do not contact unless you can only foster. Yes putting him up for adoption WAS what I thought was best... But not to have to put us both through a goodbye again.. I would like to find someone as lose as possible either to my work on Morristown or where I'm currently staying, Bean Station/Mooresburg. I want to visit so that it will help with having to be away from me. This is imperative...if you have ANY RESERVATION AT ALL ABOUT THIS PLEASE DO NOT CALL. This is a complicated situation. And unless someone can understand and handle that he may not feel social like a regular adoption or foster. He will be needing to be neutered. And I would also like to pay for all of his needs plus a donation to the person helping us. I've had to quit a previous job because of no home in that area so I'm just getting back on my feet. I cannot afford a lot. It is a lot of responsibility and the amount paid would never be acceptable payment for services or actual time, etc. I know this is ALOT to ask for. But I know and have faith that there is a solution. Midnight gets along with other cats as well as dogs. He is litter box trained. Doesn't have any bad habits that I'm aware of. The longest this would be for is 3 months. And very likely will be much sooner. But you never know what tomorrow brings. But that's the plan. I am working full time but will contact all responses first oppurtunity. A very close friend is helping me with this and will be who's contact information I've included for questions, inquiry or even suggestions . Thank you, Montana and Vivian

Adopt Midnight and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Midnight's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. How will Midnight receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Midnight, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Midnight's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Midnight was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Midnight’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Midnight’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Midnight’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
