About this Dog
Oatey was born in September of 2017. He was left in the basement standing in 4inches of water for weeks on end and was physically abused. He was rescued by a friend of mine that already has 3 large pit bulls and a baby on the way so I took him in about a week ago. Unfortunately my apartment does not allow dogs so I have to have him watched by dog sitters during the day and I take care of him at night until I can find him a permanent loving home. He’s fully grown and about 15lbs very small and only comes up to my knees when he’s on all fours. He’s timid and frightened easily but he doesn’t attack or bite. He will bark and hide. He’s extremely loving, kind, gentle and intelligent. He’s fully trained to potty outside and will do so with ease. He knows how to sit and is very obedient. He doesn’t chew on anything he’s not suppose to and he doesn’t have accidents in the house. He’s most afraid of males so just be patient and soothing and he will warm up to you. I let a male dog sit him and within a few minutes he was licking on him and comfortable with him. He catches on to things very quick. He is energetic and loves walks in the park but he can also just spend a whole day cuddling and watching tv so he will definitely be up for whatever you want to do!

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Otis's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Otis was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Otis’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
