About this Cat
3 days ago we came home at night in the rain and a cat came up to the door and wanted in. He was very friendly and had a collar on. I let him in since my 17 year old cat just passed away and I still have a litter box and some cat food. His collar had his name “Jinx” and a phone number. Happy that I could return him home I called. They informed me that they had moved to NC and left him behind. I am disabled and cannot take care of another cat unfortunately. I was very sad to see that he has been completely declawed, front and back. I didn’t even know that was a thing. He is the sweetest most loving cat I’ve ever seen. And I’ve had cats my whole life till now. Everyone that gets a kitten hopes it will turn out to be like Jinx. He is black with a white tummy. Has no interest in people food. I know he would make a great companion for an older person or family with kids. It breaks my heart I can’t keep him, I’m just not physically able anymore. I don’t know his age, he seems about 5 or 6 but that’s a guess. He is neutered. He is a perfect weight, not skinny or fat. This poor guy will make someone very happy.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jinx's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jinx was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jinx’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
