About this Dog

Hello my name is Bo I am 2 1/2 years old!! My story may seem long, it is really not. I just like for you to get to know me.😊 When I was a puppy I became certified as a service dog. Then soon got adopted to a family during Covid, but they did not continue with my training. So the belief is with the lack of continued training as a puppy and what I was already taught to do which was to be around humans, I ended up developing separation anxiety. You see, from the start being with humans all the time became my purpose in life. Covid kept us together a lot, then when everyone went back to their normal lives I didn’t know what to do. I was never trained to be by myself. I did eventually figure out how to entertain myself, but I guess not everyone appreciated my “redecorating skills”. My adopted family tried to help me but gave up. They sent me with a new family in October, where I have been ever since. Given the chance to be trained better, I have worked hard to be a better me. I am able to stay at home with another dog. She keeps me from trying to “redecorate” 😉. I have spent small amounts of time by myself, I do ok. If it’s been awhile, I still continue to get so excited when people come home. I am the happiest dog. My favorite things to do are to get belly rubs, snacks, doing tricks, cuddles, playing with my toys, fetching/tug-a-war. I love the outside to explore and get my exercise. This is where I prefer a yard to play in and/ or go on regular walks to burn my energy. I do know how to settle down and relax. I just need you to get my attention when exited and tell me to “settle”. I learn quickly. They say I am a sweet boy that gets along with cats/kittens, female dogs and children. Not sure with male dogs or small dogs, not around them much. So by now are you wondering why I am looking for a new family despite me being better? Well my companion dog that I hangout with gets jealous and annoyed with me at times. For her getting older and being the only dog for a very long time is what she has always known . When she gets frustrated with me is when I get too energized, using her toys, eating her food, and taking some of the spotlight away from her. As much as my foster family tries to share their love between us, we don’t get along sometimes. This is the ONLY reason why they are trying to find me another loving family. To help her and me live a long and healthy life. Despite getting along most of the time, separation seems needed. A patient family that would love to have a loyal, funny, loving, energetic dog would be great. I am not perfect, but I may be perfect for you!! ❤️ ❤️

Adopt Bo and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Bo receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Bo's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Bo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
