About this Dog
Iris is a 2 year old (roughly) bulldog mix who wandered onto my porch a year ago, starving and emaciated and freezing. No one claimed her and shelters are full, so she stayed with us. She has since shown severe aggression towards cats (we have 4), men wearing hats, and other dogs. We do not know of her past at all or what she may have gone through. We already have to keep her confined to only part of the house due to the cats and no fenced in yard for her to be able to be outside and run. I’ve tried supplements and training that I am capable of, she has shown no aggression towards me and she has been able to “warm up” to people usually. She is not spayed currently, she is in heat and I planned to have that done after this cycle. She needs a loving and calm home with no other pets, she loves to snuggle and is definitely a lap dog.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Iris's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Iris was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Iris’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
