About this Dog
Stashu is a 9month old and healthy Bernese Mountain Dog Puppy who is already about ~90lb. He grew up on the foothills of Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains and is now looking for a new home. He is full of energy and has a goofy personality. He loves undivided attention and cuddles. As all puppies, he can be stubborn and a big baby - though - positive reinforcement is the best route. He is extremely food motivated and has a wide pallet. He loves long walks and runs, exploring everything with his nose. He knows basic commands - sit, stay, lie down, come (selective). Leash trained, but does gets excited with new things around him. While he didn't grow up around a lot of dogs, he has interacted with a number of dogs and is very curious. He may not know how to play with dogs, but definitely likes to sniff and hang around them. He is super friendly with people he meet and loves to get pets. His current parents have a change in circumstances and have to be on a road a lot and can't keep him. He will likely thrive in an adult household with consistent training, love, and care. He is not crate trained. He has never met kids and we don't know how he would interact with them.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Stashu's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Stashu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Stashu’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
