About this Cat
Jordy is approximately over a year old. In the summer of 2021 we believe he was dumped on our private lane. It took us a year to gain his trust and this fall he went from living outside to living in our patio. A week before we had him neutered, he started to let us pet him. The Iowa Animal Alliance mistakenly clipped his ear, even though they promised not to. It did not diminish his beauty or personality. He is affectionate and likes our dog. We had hoped he would get along with our resident cat after careful introduction steps. It was not successful and caused stress to both cats. We believe Jordy would be happier in a single cat home. He is potty trained and did well alone in our home. He’s up to date on vaccinations, is microchipped. We wished we could have kept him if he would have gotten along with our other cat.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jordy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jordy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jordy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
