About this Dog
We received Lucy from a co-worker's father who could no longer take care of her when she was less than a year old. She has an alpha personality, and we believe she would best be in a home by herself. She is a smart and cautious girl and prefers to come to you when she is ready but once she does, she loves nothing more than to lay with you on the couch and cuddle. Like any other companion she has her own personality and may take a bit to get used to, but we can help shorten that time with a conversation if she sounds like a good fit. She has always been in a house with a yard and has done well this way and we believe she would not like apartment life, she has anxiety issues with thunder, fireworks and sounds she is not used to. She loves taking rides in the car and goes nuts over squirrels. We would love to keep her as we have our other companions over the years, unfortunately we are moving to a country that does not allow pits of any kind no matter what. She will be 8 1/2 on 10/10/2022

After verifying the adoption, Lucy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lucy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lucy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
