About this Dog

Laddie was a rescue from Southern California where he lived until I brought him to Kansas City, MO. He has been with me since 2014 and in MO since 2016. I can no longer afford to care for him and he has started to have seizures. Laddie is very food aggressive and is really a one person pup. Laddie has been in one room with me since 2016 with very little exercise because of my spine issues and congestive heart disease. He is very smart and knows how to fetch, sit, lay down, walks on his hind legs and can tell you which hand his treat is in. He will belly crawl but I have let him gain too much weight so he can't roll over anymore. He has been groomed every 8 to 10 weeks but since I can't drive his hair has gotten fairly long and if wet he looks like a black lamb. I love him and will miss him so much but the life he has now isn't worth much. He has been fixed (but he doesn't know it) so don't tell him. Shhh! I haven't gotten his shots or licenced him in quite a few years due to transportation issues But I'm willing to help with that if need be. Laddie (I didn't name him) doesn't come to his name but will always come for treats. So I suggest no children or other dogs. Cats? Who knows? Just please adopt my grumpy dog and give him a good home. He has taken good care of me and he deserves to be loved by someone who can walk him. He absolutely will not go potty in the house!

Adopt Laddie and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Laddie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Laddie receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Laddie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Laddie's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Laddie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Laddie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What is Dogecoin?

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Laddie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Laddie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
