About this Cat
Meet Pilgrim. He is a delightful short-haired black and white male cat about one year old. His previous owner, who was older, surrendered him to a local veterinarian, because she could no longer care for him. He was raised as a solo pet. The vet clinic is generously taking care of him, but he does have to live in a cage. PILGRIM IS A SPONSORED CAT, which means that a generous donor has paid his adoption fee. He is super affection and loves (craves) attention. He was super active and playful with his previous owner. He loves to be held and to snuggle, so we think he will be a good lap cat. He is nervous around the other cats, so he may do better as a solo pet, but he may be ok with other with a calm dog or laid back cat. We do not think he will do well with small children. We think he will do best with a patient owner who can return him to his calm, outgoing self and a house where he will get sufficient play and stimulation. He is negative for feline leukemia/aids test, current on his distemper and rabies vaccines, been wormed, advantage for fleas, vet checked and neutered. He is healthy and ready for a new, permanent home. You will receive a complete copy of his medical records upon adoption to turn over to your regular vet. If interested in this handsome gentleman, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or [email protected].

Adopt Pilgrim and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pilgrim's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Pilgrim's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Pilgrim, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Pilgrim's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pilgrim was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pilgrim’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Pilgrim’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pilgrim’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
