About this Dog
Reason for rehoming: She is looking for a new family because ours is allergic. She is used to being inside and with her human, so I want to find her a place where she won’t be by herself in the garage or outside. With the fast pace and busyness of life, we all need a friend to help us slow down and embrace rest. Cue sweet old Ezra Janice, an irresistibly cute and quirky senior boxer mix who takes her sweet time on walks, naps like it’s her full-time job, and appreciates the simple things in life like back scratches, chill music, and looking out the window. Ezra is house trained and is a champion at not going potty in the house. She knows how to sit, shake, and “no ma’am” (stay/leave it), that is if there’s food involved. Her favorite treat is ice cubes and listening to her gobble them up has got to be one of the most oddly endearing sounds on earth. She never jumps and rarely barks, unless she is demanding more pats or sees another creature. Her calm demeanor and relaxed pace makes her a good fit for kids, adults, and seniors alike, but she should be the only pet in the home. Ezra in Hebrew means “to help” or “the helper”. Like her name suggests, she is seeking your help with a new family and home, but you can rest assured that this love muffin will more than return the help with her endless kisses and cuteness, snores and silly faces, laughter and memories. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ezra's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ezra was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ezra’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
