About this Dog
1.5yr old, 60ish lb, German Shepard/Americal Staffy Terrier Male looking to find a new home that can give him the time and attention he needs to retrain behavior. He grew up in a house with another male German Shephard dog who didn't appreciate him when he first came in. He grew to like him but still played more on the rough side and after many conversations with the then roommates about how I didn't want him to learn this rougher behavior, Baker still has lingering issues such as barking at the door when people knock, excessive barking when meeting new people/dogs, hyperaware of his surroundings and reacts with barking/lunging toward said object and not responding to his name when he is barking at said object. Although he has these flaws, he is a very sweet boy when you gain that trust with him. He loves to give licks and snuggle between your legs. He loves belly scratches but doesn't like his paws touched a lot. He hasn't had any medical problems as of yet and I have kept him up to date on shots. He has so much potential and loves to satisfy his human. He is very treat motivated which makes him easier to train. With my personal, medical and work life, I have just simply ran out of time and cant give him the proper training to nip this in the bud. I want to find him a home that can give him more attention and more freedom to run and play other than on my 3 days off. Would love to find someone that has a bigger yard or fenced in land, hopefully a house so he had a place to explore. And most of all, someone that can love on him and spoil him with treats for eternity. He is my best boy and I am absolutely heart broken that I have to re-home. I hope someone is out there that can welcome him into their hearts.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Baker was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Baker’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
