About this Dog
Meet Shae. Born approximately June 2021, Shae is a sweet and curious Pyr/Golden mix pup who is calm and observant. Shae has learned to sit, wait for a treat, knows "go potty" and is working on typical puppy manners. Shae enjoys a good chew toy or ball to chase. She will most likely do great with cats too. She needs a patient owner who is home a lot willing to socialize her and help her gain confidence. While she is shy, she doesn't like to be alone and will cry in her crate if left alone. But if another dog or person is in the room, she is perfectly happy to hang out in her crate and observe. She is dog friendly and is more likely to introduce herself to a dog than a human. Unless of course you have plenty of treats. She will require a resident dog who will be playful, but gentle and patient as well and to act as her mentor as she continues to understand the rules of her new world. Children must be dog savvy and give her the space she needs until comfortable. Anybody (dog or child) chasing her to get attention will likely increase her shyness and she will retreat to her crate or safe spot. She needs time and space to warm up at her own pace. This cute little girl is not going to be little for long. Now is the best time to jump in and continue mentoring her. It is going to be fun watching her grow and become the loving and loyal companion she is meant to be. ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206. PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS WHO ARE AT LEAST 50 POUNDS. Our requirements for puppy adoptions are simple and necessary. Our puppies are not livestock guardians, they are family pets that live inside of the family home. Puppies must be placed in homes with a youthful, adult resident dog of similar size. This gives the puppy a mentor and a solid foundation for becoming part of the family. Puppies are only adopted to homes with someone at home at least part of the day. If no one is home for 6-8 hours at a time, please do not apply. Preference is always given to those with Great Pyrenees experience. Applicants must have secure, visible fencing and a socialization plan in place. The fastest way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. Adoption is not first come, first served. GPRS and its fosters work diligently to find the right fit for each and every unique dog and puppy. Applicant’s personal pets must be current on vaccines & heartworm/flea prevention and be altered. Adoption fee: $450 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo shot, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). You must still meet our requirements, as listed below, to adopt a puppy. We want to make sure our homes for puppies are forever! Adopters outside of Texas pay the cost of transport to independent transport service ($225). GPRS has proudly placed thousands of Great Pyrenees and GP mixes in the PNW for over a decade. Our volunteers have over 100 years combined experience fostering, screening, and placing this majestic breed into loving, forever homes. When adopting from us, you can rest assured that we provide life-long support and advice when it comes to your new family member. As always, our purpose is to find the best match for every unique dog that comes through our doors. Taking the time to find the right fit comes first and foremost at the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society. If you are interested in adopting, please take the time, and apply. You will see firsthand how much care, attention and love goes into the process, when you are guided a personal screener. This is why we have people come back again and again for their next family member! See all our dogs, fill out an application and discover why we are the BEST at placing the right dog in the right home! https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/. ADOPTION, FOSTERING, AND DONATIONS are just some of the ways you can help a rescued dog. We have worked hard to cultivate a large network of volunteers to save this majestic breed. Adopt Shae and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Shae's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Shae's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Shae, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Shae's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Shae was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Shae’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Shae’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Shae’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
