About this Cat
Pretty Boy, a young adult male, showed up unexpectantly while I was was trying to trap a feral female, when he went into the trap first! I wound up taking them both to the spay/neuter clinic & brought them home to socialize them, then hopefully find them good homes. Including them, we now have 8 cats, all starting out as ferals. Pretty Boy is about 99% socialized. He is a big gorgeous cat, with a regal, confident personality (I think he knows how pretty he is ~he is a long haired black cat with white whiskers and mane, white mittens on front paws and white socks on back). But he is in serious competition with our alpha male and another male black cat. He is very possessive of me which causes a lot of friction with the other males. He is laid back, playful, faithful and loving, follows me around and lies at my feet like a dog wherever I am ~that is unless my alpha male runs him off. This makes him constantly on the lookout and very nervous. They fight regularly. I've tried to be patient hoping they would work it out. I've been very ambivalent about giving him up, but having 8 cats is enough of a job when they all get along, & this has become more than I can manage. I selfishly want to keep him, but he would be so much happier in a home where he was the only male cat. I haven't seen him around dogs but my guess is he would be ok. He's a real prize, and just needs the freedom to be himself. He's very content being an indoor cat which was my choice, both to protect the wildlife and to protect him too! He deserves a good home, where he could receive more love and attention than I'm able to give him, and let his lovely personality shine just as much as his outer beauty.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pretty Boy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pretty Boy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
