About this Dog
Foster location: Boise ID Breed: Lab/Heeler/Shepherd Mix Age: 5-6 months old Size: Likely will be about 35-40 pounds Adoption Fee: $200.00 Spayed, Vaccinated, Microchipped If interested you must fill out an Adoption Application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Little Gemma has had a rough go of it so far in life having been passed around to 3 homes in the first 4 months of her life before being surrendered to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue when she would not warm up to the man in the household. Yep, you read that right including our foster home Gemma has had 4 homes within the first 4 months of her life!!! During the first few months of their lives puppies go through a crucial socialization period and need lots of positive experiences. This little one never had a chance to get settled let alone enjoy herself and so missed out on positive social experiences! Gemma is timid by nature understandably so, however once she warms up (which happens fairly quickly) she is an absolute joy and so dang affectionate. In her foster home she does well with children but does like to herd and at times nip at ankles when she is excited. She would not enjoy pushy kids or being chased. She LOVES to cuddle with the kids in her foster home and is quick to snuggle up for a nap. Gemma is a vocal player and can sound growly when she wrestles. She would do best in a home with an older, playful, and balanced dog because dog friends are her favorite friends. Gemma has also done well with the cats in her foster home but intros will be important. She is potty trained, crate trained, and only makes noise when she is playing or needs to go potty! Gemma needs a dog savvy family who is committed to continuing her training and positive experiences. We want her to have a family that will enroll her in puppy classes and get her out and about with them to continue to explore this big wide world!

Adopt Gemma and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gemma's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Gemma's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Gemma, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gemma's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gemma was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gemma’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Gemma’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gemma’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
